Description of the Work:


My original watercolor “Awakening” depicts a nude woman lying in a fetal position, eyes closed, in a posture of fragility and purity. A shower of gold descends upon her, reminiscent of Gustav Klimt’s Danaë, yet interpreted here in a contemporary and intimate way. She rests within a nest of vibrant exotic flowers, symbolizing life, fertility, and re-enchantment.


This piece is a metaphor for renewal, for the possibility of being reborn to oneself, of blossoming a second time. Through its gentle yet powerful aura, it embodies a form of sacred femininity, echoing my “Divine” collection, where women are depicted as icons haloed with light and nature. Each detail is delicately painted in watercolor, playing with contrasts between the transparency of pigments and the intensity of gold leaf, capturing light and giving the work a timeless dimension.

In my work, two themes are inseparable: woman and nature. I never treat them separately, as for me they are two expressions of the same vital energy.
The woman carries the quiet strength of life, and nature is both her setting and her extension. Both are threatened, often overlooked, yet both contain a resilience I seek to celebrate.


I firmly believe, as Aragon wrote, that “the woman is the future of man.” Femininity is not domination but a gentle, spiritual energy capable of guiding. My work does not aim to oppose but to reveal harmony: the balance that emerges when feminine and masculine forces coexist around the nature that connects us.


My art is a luminous celebration, an invitation to believe in possibility, balance, and reconciliation. My inner gardens are lush and joyful because I believe joy itself is a form of resistance.
