Artwork Description: Step into a dreamlike and radiant world of color with this original watercolor depicting two pink bee-eater birds at the heart of a lush garden, imagined as a vibrant botanical paradise.

This painting was born from a happy coincidence: while flipping through an old ornithology guide, I discovered these flamboyant birds I had never seen before. Even their name — scarlet bee-eaters — sounded like poetry. I immediately knew I would paint them. This pair of birds symbolizes rare beauty, ephemerality, and connection.

🌿 Artistic Approach Through this artwork, I wish to echo an essential message: wildflowers and tropical birds are disappearing in silence, slowly but surely. Painting these wonders is a way of making them exist differently, of reminding us of their precious presence and the urgent need to protect them. This piece aims to raise awareness, inspire wonder… and protect.
