This original watercolor features a large bouquet of imaginary flowers, lush and vibrant, filled with intense colors and invented shapes. At its center, three deep purple zinnias anchor the composition like precious markers within a dreamlike garden.


The zinnia, often associated with affectionate thoughts or the fidelity of memories, is a flower I cherish for its apparent robustness… yet upon closer observation, it reveals a fragile, almost nostalgic grace.


A little anecdote: inspired by a childhood coloring book in which a page showed a zinnia — without me even knowing what it was at the time — I chose to make it the centerpiece of this bouquet. A return to innocence, playful floral fantasy, fully embraced.
