In this artwork, the horned violet was my intimate and symbolic inspiration. In the language of flowers, giving a violet is to entrust a secret. In some cultures, it was even slipped into love letters to convey a silent message. I sought to translate this quiet power through a lush, fantastical bouquet. Often overlooked, these flowers play an essential role in our ecosystems, reminding us that beauty can be invisible at first glance, yet profoundly moving when we take the time to observe—just like art.
